I take ...I am deeply humbled by your honest words! I take no credit for inspiring you and give all the credit to our Lord for using my walk and life experiences to help refresh you Pastor Dave. As I look back at my life I now see God’s hand in every part of my life and I have no problem in letting people know about it as long as it brings Glory to God and not me. Some people can’t understand the verse Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." I understand this verse now…I look back over my life and I am in awe of His Love for me….a sinner. Reminds me of the poem Footprints by Mary Stevenson, 1936
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”
The Lord has carried me many times. I can’t tell you how many times people stated to us “ I don’t know how you deal with such tragedy” we tell them, its not us…It’s God. The prayers of the church have lifted the shield of faith up in front of us when our hearts where broken and protected us from attacks of the evil one. We are so thankful for those prayers.

The message I share is simple. If you don’t know where you will go if you should died today, then we encourage you to except Gods free gift of grace and choose to follow Him. It is He that continues to provide our comfort. Don’t make excuses that you need to change first. God wants you now just the way you are…..He will help you with any changes that might be needed as you grow in your understanding of Him.

The dictionary defines Revival as an awakening, in a church or community, of interest in and care for matters relating to personal religion. And as an evangelistic service or a series of services for the purpose of affecting a religious awakening: to hold a revival. Pastor Dave I hope your church body not only wakes up but shouts out the news that Jesus Christ is alive in there hearts and He is well! May your body of believers reach out to those around them, at home, work, school, online and share the good news, may all those they come in contact with see the JOY they have in Christ!Bob Crainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08030209269390162153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5519774272031467458.post-3112773960263043112009-09-18T13:11:18.605-07:002009-09-18T13:11:18.605-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Bob Crainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08030209269390162153noreply@blogger.com
